Forget about accessories being the finishing touch to your look, if you don’t douse yourself in confidence any look will be a dud. If you don’t have that confidence yet fake it until you make it. Take a cue from a few of my favorite style icons who are synonymous with confidence.
Melody Ehsani is one of my favorite jewelry designers. Her creations scream, “I’m an individual and IDGAF,” and I love it. She just came out with her Spring 2013 Look book. It features designs inspired by New Jack City and is pretty dope. Check it out.
Stephen Burrows is a true pioneer in the fashion industry. He was the first African-American designer to achieve international fame. During the 70′s he was the go to designer for all of the ‘it girls,’ as he helped define the era with his fanciful colored designs.
