When I first saw the Alexander Wang ‘Aline’ sandals, I swooned. And they have tugged on my heart string every time I’ve seen them after that. Their stylish simplicity is just so me. I love love love them. Priced at nearly $700 they are def out of my price range, but you can catch them here. I may have to figure out some cool way to DIY these babies because they are sweeeeeet.
I recently took a class to improve my sewing skills and this t-shirt is the result. I’ve done tons of DIY projects, but to actually sew a wearable piece of clothing from scratch is quite an accomplishment for me. This is my first piece that I have made from a pattern, that I can actually wear. Things I made in the past were just not up to par. They were too small, too big, or just a wreck, but this one is just right (Goldilock’s voice)

The ombre nail trend has been around for a while and it’s still one of my favs. I used do this all the time as a little girl long before it was the ombre trend. It’s by far one of the easiest DIY nail desgins out there. Recently I’ve done blue, neutrals and this time pinks. Every time I do it I reminiscence about doing my nails and my mom’s at our old house in New Orleans and it makes me smile )
